Simply the best Italian food in LA. The appearance of the food is nice but the taste is superb. If you are interested in eating Italian food with the quality that you will get on the East coast then Matteo's is the place for you. Highly recommend the braciola. An entree that you cannot find at most Italian restaurants on the West coast. Staff is friendly and plentiful as they are there to please. Very romantic ambiance and be sure to arrive early for a drink at the bar.
