Businiess name:  st. anthony's hospital

Review content:
I WILL NEVER RETURN TO ST. ANTHONY'S MEDICAL CENTER UNDER ANY CONDITIONS. If I could give this hospital less than one star, I would. My mother went to the ER and she was admitted to the hospital where they kept her for 2 nights/3 days. During her stay, they kept her regularly on several antibiotics and heavy narcotic painkillers. When she was discharged, the doctor gave her an unsigned prescription, which both he and the nurse failed to check and see that it was incomplete. Upon getting to the pharmacy, we were told that they could not fill the painkiller without a hard copy of the doctor's signature. We called the hospital and offered to drive back up there. We were told that the doctor had left for the day and was another facility and could not come back. We asked if an associate of his could sign, since he had referenced the prescription in his notes and were given a firm "NO." We asked if we could drive to the other facility and he could sign it there and were told that my mother would simply have to wait until 9am the next day to receive her prescription. Seven hours after my mother's discharge (and four and a half hours after she was supposed to take her prescriptions), the director finally allowed another doctor to sign the prescription. Upon going to the pharmacy again to fill the now-signed prescription, we learned that the second doctor filled out the prescription incorrectly, which resulted in another telephone call to the director of the hospital before the matter could be resolved. My mother was in so much pain, she was crying profusely which made her condition even worse.
