I called this guy out for what I thought was a blown breaker. Turns out it just needed a reset -- something I have done dozens of times in the past, yet for some reason I did it incorrectly this time.
To make a long story short, He wanted $75 for ten seconds worth of work, and absolutely refused to negotiate. I offered $40, which was still more than the job was worth, but he told me he was already giving me a deal, by not charging me double! What a joke.
I've never felt so ripped off and disrespected by a professional before, who acted like I was an idiot for not knowing how to reset a breaker, and he was going to laugh all the way to the bank. I hope that everyone who reads this NEVER DOES BUSINESS with AA Guaranteed, under any circumstance-- simply on the principle that business should treat people decently-- and this guy obviously thinks he can just treat people like dirt, and that they have no recourse.
Even if you don't think it will happen to you, I know for a fact there are several other electricians in Merced who charge less, do better work, and will treat you decently. I only called this guy because regular companies I might call were not available.. and now, I will NEVER AGAIN, and I hope that you DON'T EVER call either.
btw, if you read this AA Guaranteed guy, I hope you lose much more than the couple of extra bucks you ripped me off for. Next time you think about being such a tool, maybe you can calculate that just being a decent human being might actually be to your benefit.
