Review content:
Tie those walking shoes tight and grab your water bottle and a few snacks; you are in for a really great time walking the streets of downtown Portland!
Peter of Peter's Walking Tours of Portland, is a former teacher and it shows. He has the right balance of kid and grown-up information.
The tour we took began and ended at Pioneer Courthouse Square. We went all over down town and found echo chambers in various spaces-inside and out! He pointed out art and architecture. I learned so much and became at ease and oriented to tackle downtown on my own.
Usually you only pay for the adults, so the tours are VERY reasonable. I highly recommend this tour for families with kids who are at least 5, or are capable of walking and paying attention.
