Review content:
There are many Spanish restaurants in this area. I prefer this one over all. Located on Bergenline Avenue, this place is quite popular, and now that they have expanded their parking, it will be even more popular.
The prices range from really good to fair. The more pricier items are seafood and lobster dishes, such as Paella. But Paella fans will probably pay and arm and a leg to eat Paella here. The restaurant is small, but for events, there is a catering hall in the back for parties up to 60 people. There is also a small cafe area for counter eating and takeout. The catering prices are an excellent bargain and you get a lot for the buck (Including the Sangria!). If you are here just for dinner, order the Sangria..it is good, but sip it instead of gulping it, as it will hit you before you know it.
Entrees in the dining room are served with bread, salad, yellow rice, and potatoes (which are more like chips, but good.)The yellow rice is more of a Spanish/Iberian type rice. I prefer ordering the moro rice (A Cuban style rice..dark with black beans, simply delicious. ) The Chicken with Mushroom sauce is tasty. The Chicken Dishes with Wine Sauces are not to be missed. The Churrasco steak is done quite well..tasty and plenty. Appetizers like the white bean soup and croquettes are items to be tried, if you never have before. There is a large selection of beef, pork, chicken, and fish/seafood dishes. The service is good, so do not fret. The waiters are friendly and well mannered.
I do not order dessert here, but you can, if you want, and you can get a good flan dessert here if you are in the mood. I do always get cafe con leche, as no one does coffee better than a Latino Restaurant. If I can't get a Cappucino, I will get my Cafe con Leche and savor every last drop. Que rico!
