I had been to Glow for a facial and loved it. So I was eagerly anticipating my Hot Stone Massage. Boy, was I let down. The massage therapist spent more time fiddling with the stones than touching me. I spent 65% of the time lying on the table waiting for her to use the stones. I have had hot stone massages at some very high end spas and knew what to expect, but this was FAR BELOW my expectations. When I called to speak with the owner about it the next day (the massage therapist checked me out and I felt uncomfortable voicing my concern), the woman on the phone told me that the stones are used more than actual massage. I explained that this was far below what I expected and that I felt like I was waiting the entire time. Basically, they were unwilling to accept what I was telling them -- that the service was very disappointing -- and implied that I had misconstrued expectations of what a hot stone massage is. The woman on the phone offered me 10% off the next time I came. The owner wouldn't get on the phone but said I could use a 20% coupon I had originally brought and was denied use of because I was paying with a gift certificate. The massage was $150 and was definitely not worth it. Sadly, I will not be returning to Glow. Their lack of valuing what I was telling them or taking it seriously, plus a waste of $150 and my time, has seriously disappointed me. Pros: Nice atmosphere Cons: Poor customer service, poor massage skills
