I discovered Planter's several years back when I was given some spices and seasonings as a Christmas present. After I'd used up some of them, I wanted to go back for more. At the time, I lived 4 hours from Kansas City, but came back occasionally to visit. Planter's became a regular MUST-SEE on my returns. It is the neatest little shop!! While my focus is on their very inexpensive bulk spices, they also have all sorts of lawn and garden care and other items. My kids love the 10 cent candy sticks. I go crazy in the spice section, and we've never had so many wonderful, aromatic, tasty spices for cooking. The prices are fantastic, and the service is friendly and non-intrusive. You MUST visit Planter's anytime you're close to downtown!!
