Review content:
Prospective clients, please note that the last 11 positive reviews were all posted on the SAME Exact DAY. Figure for yourself if they were written by the owner's family members. But that type of deceptive practice doesn't surprise me coming from this place, or David Perlman (the owner, aka David Alan) himself.
I had a manicure and a hair cut at this place, tried it out when I saw the big new building open up on Rt. 4. There was only 1 woman doing the manicures, so I had to wait a while- and then when it was finally my turn, she kept trying to add more things onto my order, more money for them, of course. It did not feel comfortable to be pressured. Also, she was very unprofessional. I was surprised, especially from the whole vibe David Alan tries to give off, as a high-end salon. THis place really is not! The bathroom was so gross. No soap or towels, and the garbage can was overflowing. Also, the woman at the front desk (i think thats his wife?) was so rude to me, first on the phone, and then again when I arrived early for my appointment.
Save yourself stress and money and go elsewhere. I mean, we're in Bergen County, you should have no problems finding a decently-run salon.
