Good: I used to really like going to Lum's to eat because you could get a salad/soup bar with you meal if you ordered an entree. The servers would cater to the customers and want them to feel that they wanted our business. My husband and I have been going to Lum's for at least 20 years. And really loved the place.. Bad: What I don't like about Lum's these days is the fact that since the new owners have taken over, the steaks are not what they used to be. We asked our server if they started getting steaks from antoher source or why are the steaks so different. She said that the steaks were from Omaha Steaks, she thinks. The steaks are grainy and unflavorful and tough. When my cashier asked about our meal, I said it wasn't very good, she said "oh" and that was it. Nice huh!!. Improvements: I would like to see things they way they used to be. I feel that now, we are just someone the server has to deal with. We don't feel special when we come in.. Other: It has been 6 months since I was at Lum's until tonight, frankly, I don't know if I will return again. My husband and I used to eat there every Sunday for Brunch and really enjoyed it. Now, we are just a ticket to drop on the table after they check on you once and maybe refill our drink after we ask. It also seems that now the long term staff that was once there seems to be gone, that may have something to do with the bad service. I think there is only 2 original servers left that we saw..
