I will never go anywhere else ever again after my fantastic mani/pedi experience at Just Calm Down! My friends have been bragging about this place forever so I was so excited finally to make it in. With so many delicious choices from their Sweet Shoppe ( as they call it and all those in the know) upon my arrival I was guided through each selection by the absolutely lovely woman at the front desk. After much contimplation, I decided on the Laguna Be-Otch! What a way to bring California to New York in mid December. To go with my choice, I was offered an assortment of yummy drinks. I chose the homemade hot cocoa which I must say was beyond tasty! My nail technician then helped me choose the perfect color and after I was swept away to a beautiful luxurious tented room. Relaxing on a couch could not have been more soothing after a hard work week. From the unbelievable soak ( which had tons of tropical ingredients) to the two made to order scrubs and seaweed wrap, I really felt like I was in heaven. The girls at Just Calm Down really go above and beyond in all categories. As an avid spa-goer and lover of nail treatments, I truly believe that Just Calm Down is by far the best spa I have ever been to. The ambiance is quite charming-- leaps and bounds above the typical mundane and sterile spas sprouting up everywhere. It has been almost 3 weeks since my visit and my feet are still baby soft and my polish has not chipped at all! The quality of the polish and the way it was applied really lasts. My nail tech was also extremely knowledgable about nail care and gave me lots of tips! I recommend Just Calm Down to all those looking to be pampered in paradise!
