Review content:
First of all it took me a million years to get an appointment at just calm down; I'm assuming after reading some of the other poor reviews here it's because I had a gift certificate and it seems that just calm down has a poor history with accepting gift certificates as payment because maybe they're a cash poor business or just greedy, who knows? The redheaded receptionist was totally lame and tried to upsell me like crazy calling me stupid pet names like she knew me. She was ridiculous and embarassing. The owner should put her in a back of house job, working with the public isn't her strong suit.
But I have to say when the pedicurist took me to supposedly glorious tent area I was SERIOUSLY disappointed with the decor, cleanliness and service itself. The girl was nice enough, but the area to pick colors was poorly lit and the drink that was supposed to come with the service I had to ask for three times. When I got my "lemonade" I'm serious, it was about 4 ounces of poorly mixed powdered lemonade in a filthy, old glass. Gross!
The supposedly exotic and gorgeous tent is a filthy, dirty, stained, dilapidated mess of material strung up on some piping. Most alarmingly, the pots or tubs where you stick your feet to soak in a mess of moldy old fruit totally has a ring of dirt and filth around it. You sit on this stained, smelly, old couch that looks like someone swiped it out of the garbage on the street. The place is just truly unsanitary. I shudder thinking about my feet in that bowl.
Just SO NOT WORTH IT. I looked at the list of treatments before I left and the person who was kind enough to buy my gift cerificate paid $85 for this shabby, filthy, below average service. DO NOT GO TO THIS HELLHOLE, TRUST ME!!!!
Cons: Dirty, Unsanitary, Ridiculously Overpriced Services
