Review content:
Almquist Lumber in Blue Lake is a woodworkers Heaven. For a small business, it’s surprising that they can pack in a line of Delta shop machines and accessories as well as many high quality hand and power tools. Add to that, specialty hardware such as hinges, latches, etc and glues to hold everything together. But the real reason to go is the amazing selection of woods from around the world and the knowledgeable staff to tell you all about them. Of course they stock the standard wood products and even have a large shop in the back, but the variety of wood in every color of the rainbow is inspiring to even a beginning woodwright.
