Businiess name:  Lazy Dog Camp Resort

Review content:
My family went back to the Lazy Dog for the fourth year. When I say 'family', I mean our ENTIRE family-100+, for our family reunion. In the past we had been disappointed, so we weren't sure what lay ahead. I knew the minute I crossed that gate that something was different. The owner had passed away, and the son was running it now. Here's what changed. The bathrooms are cleaner, I was told they were CLEANED twice a day, and I personally witnessed the employees checking them throughout the day. All the buildings were given a fresh coat of paint, some cabins were repainted on the inside as well. The entire park was clean. There is a TON of stuff for the kids to do. There is a volleyball net, 'corn hole', basketball, wooden cars for smaller children, a swimming pool, an area that is literally WIDE OPEN, for the kids to do whatever they want! Our family has a 'rash' of boys, of all ages, they choose to use that field for football. They play football 24/7, and we have to make them stop to eat. There is fishing, and the camp store now has more things in it, including food and ice cream. The camp now has a PERMANENT overseer that LIVES on site. When there is a problem, she calls the owner right on the spot, if he's not there, and the situation is resolved. They DID have a problem with someone in the office, we had that same problem. That PROBLEM has been 'resolved' as well. 'Dottie' is the overseer, and she is FANTASIC!!!! Finally, someone who has the same sarcastic sense of humor that I do! How refreshing! So in closing, a 'family' that was shopping elsewhere, is staying right where they are!!!!!
