Sovereign Bank is ok. It used to be Compass bank which was WAY better in so many ways. Sovereign is a big bank, and feels that way. They charge you for every little thing, and have so-so customer service. I was very aggravated when they made the transition from Compass to Sovereign. It was not smooth at all, and I started getting charged for services that were free w/ Compass. For example, Sovereign charges when you use your debit card! 50 cents per charge, which is just crazy. Debit cards should be free to use. So, they make it so you have to use it as a credit card in order not to charged. Not totally impressed with them, but I will continue to use them since they have convenient branch locations.
