Review content:
I have been getting pedicures for several years now at a fantastic salon on Lincoln avenue in Ravenswood with welcoming friendly cheerful faces who cared about your visit. The person that did my pedicures moved on and I decided to try Sir Spa booking a pedicure and manicure. What a mistake! Entering the salon I was impressed and felt reassured by the decor. Well that did not last. Reception was cold and icy. No smiles and no cheerful faces. And the pedicurist was not very friendly nor really interested in her job or customer. Was I at the DMV? The web site claims 45 minutes pedicure and 30 minutes manicure each. I was finished in about an hour. My fingers looked OK but at $25 dollars way overpriced. Save your cash do them yourself. My wife pays $21 at this other salon and she gets polish! Men's manicures should be about $10 certainly no more than $15. And remember this is not the Gold Coast. The pedicure was better at $45 but the day following I noticed two small cuts on my toes. That has never happened. I had also taken an introductory coupon from their website which I presented when paying. They pointed out that it was only good for Sunday-Friday. I missed that print. But they with their unhappy unsmiling faces did not say "Sorry, sir" or bothered to make an exception for a first time customer so I payed the full price of $70. Unless their massages are magical I won't return nor would recommended. Pros: Great modern minimalist decor. Cons: Service non existent. No connection to the customer. Smile people!!!
