To Whom It May Concern: I am writing this letter as a complaint about a new car purchase that I made at Car Pros Kia, in Carson, on Wednesday, July 6, 2011. While I am in my mid-fifties, and this was not my first new car purchase, I feel that I was tricked, coned and manipulated into purchasing a car sooner than I was really ready to. I feel that the sales people at Car Pros Kia are more concerned about the bottom line than they are about the needs of the consumer. In fact, I don’t see how they are able to rest at night. They were not ethical and moral in their interactions with me. In hindsight I made a terrible mistake in purchasing a car through this dealership. I went to Car Pros to pick up my Kia Sedona that had just been repaired. The pay station, at this dealership, is located in the new car show room. I had no inkling that I would be purchasing a car that very same day. A sales representative informed me that if I were to make a new car purchase the amount that I paid for the repairs on my Sedona would be reversed. However, I would have to act on this deal immediately. I told the representative that I could not afford to purchase a new car at this time. After checking my credit, she spent a countless amount of time trying to persuade me to lease a car for three years at thirty-six thousand miles. Despite the fact that I told her that thirty-six thousand miles for three years would never meet the transportation needs of my family, she persisted in her efforts to make me accept this offer. Finally, I asked for the receipt for the repairs that I had made on my Sedona. She simply ignored my request and kept talking about how leasing a car was in my best interest. I walked to my car, and she and another sales another sales associate started yelling out figures as I was getting into my car. Finally, I agreed to purchase the car that I test drove earlier. I felt so rushed about this decision. I would have loved at least a day to think about my choices. While I knew that I wanted a Kia when I actually did
