Review content:
Lakemont Park in Altoona, PA is the best family amusement park we have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Even on regular days, the cost is very reasonable. However, there are many days that are greatly discounted, allowing the entire family to go for very little money.
There are tons of rides for preschoolers. The older kids can enjoy the larger rides. The little ones enjoyed feeding ducks and playing in the sand, things you don't typically find at an amusement park. Lines are almost nil.
The prices for concessions were very reasonable, but guests are permitted to bring coolers and picnic in the park, making it that much more affordable as a family activity.
To top it all off, Lakemont is home of the oldest roller coaster in the world.
For a perfect day with the family, this is the place to be.
