Review content:
I booked a 90 minute massage at Tribeca Spa of Tranquility and I was not disappointed. The person who did my massage was friendly, professional and well trained. This is not a nail salon rub down; it is a true spa experience. Sometimes I get cold during massages and I was warm and comfortable the entire time. It was bliss. Unfortunately, at one point I could hear someone yelling on the phone, though it was brief and I don't suspect it happens often. Also, I didn't notice on my way down, but on my way back up I saw that one of their steam rooms had been closed by the (citysearch won't let me use the correct terminology, but it is an office of the city related to the healthy practices). I did use the steam room downstairs after my massage, and it seemed sanitary and was a great way to end my treatment. I was also able to sit on the sofa and enjoy a cup of tea before going back out into the world. When I got there they had booked me with a male masseur, which I don't mind, but if you do I recommend you specify when you're making the appointment.
Pros: professional massage in a relaxing environment
