Review content:
This is a fun store to shop in until you get to the checkout, which is among the most painful checkout experiences I've ever had. The cashiers move as slowly as possible, and you're lucky if you don't end up behind a customer who's either buying 100 items or is trying to use a credit card that won't go through. Don't expect to be helped at the next register if this happens to you because they don't have enough cashiers working at any given time to efficiently check out their customers. You are stuck behind this person or left to try your luck at another very slow-moving line. The last time I went there was so bad that, after waiting a very long time behind a person in line who was fighting with her debit card and ending up in line behind someone else who was buying at least 30 pieces of clothes, I hung up all my stuff on the nearest hook and left the store.
Century 21 would be excellent if rated for its selection alone, as the products it carries and the prices it sells them for are great. But the store is almost always very crowded and hard to move through, and the employees don't seem to care about anything. I can't blame them if they hate their jobs because the place is a zoo. However, they need to come up with a better plan for handling all the people they draw in.
Pros: good selection and great values
Cons: it's a ****ing madhouse
