This place is definitely the best of all the pool halls in its area. It is located near 4 other pool halls in flushing, but it stands out for it's cafe/bar that comes with great service from the waitresses. They have enough tables to accomodate the amount of crowds that come in on a daily basis; and while you are playing at your table, you can easily request a waiter to come by to take an order for drinks with the press of a bell button. The bar serves a variety of drinks, and they also have a separate cafe area for people who just want to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. Aside from the many pool tables, great service, cafe, and *clean bathrooms*, they also have an arcade area for those who are waiting for a game or whatnot. They have plenty of pool sticks to choose from, and the tables are well kept. Parking however may be a minor problem if you happen to come in on a busy day. The parking area does not compare to the spacious interior, but there is always the alternative of street parking if you are lucky :) The crowds that come to Carom varies from local teens to old folks. Some are regulars and some are just passing by, but then again once you pass by enough... you will become a regular. The price they charge for a table is average for any pool hall, sometimes they give you a discount if you go often. enough.
