Businiess name:  Hartwell Downtown Development Authority
Review by:  Michele D.
Review content:
The Hartwell DDA is helping the downtown area remain historically true and also bringing in new businesses. Downtown Hartwell offers shoppers a full range of "pickings," from jewelry to jumper cables. Antique shops attract both serious and occasional collectors and unique gift shops feature top regional artists and fine craftsmen. Hartwell's dining choices range from "home cooking" to elegant dining. Hartwell is a Georgia Main Street City, boasting a vibrant downtown with buildings constructed from approximately 1879 to 1925, according to the city's National Register of Historic Places nomination. I strongly recommend supporting Pat Fritz and the board of the Hartwell DDA for all their efforts!
