Businiess name:
Stowaway Golf Course

Review content:
For the beginner golfer, Stowaway provides low pressure atmosphere and some surprisingly challenging golf. The course provides 9 holes, 18 if you count alternate tee-box options. This course is on average a par 4 course with some long holes. The main challenge on this course are the several tee boxes nestled in the woods that require a precision tee shot. There is no sand, and only two holes have water in play. The fairways are usually in good shape, however the greens are very slow and in some cases patchy (not a place to refine your putting, it can be frustrating here). Due it's proximity to the Assabet River, the mosquito population is pretty heavy in the evening as the sun goes down, although late morning and afternoons are not bad. Avid golfers who enjoy perfectly manicured courses will probably not appreciate Stowaway. However the course is ideal for beginners who want to try using some longer clubs on a "real course" and are tired of par 3's. Oh, and the owners/attendants are very friendly folks.
