Review content:
I have been here twice, and it was two times too many .. luckily there is no cover charge, because it would be a travesty to pay for this "club" in a basement. The crowd is not very good-looking, and the music might as well be played directly from Z100. The ceilings are strangely low, which is distracting as an individual who stands at 5'11" (and 6'3" in my Louboutins). Much too crowded and the lay-out is strange .. the bathrooms are co-ed and there are only two stalls, which poses a problem when a group of girls need to use the restroom. A friend and I attempted to share a stall, only to be chased out by the bathroom attendant who thought we were using illegal substances together and threatened to call security on us ... unbelievable. The first we went, we went as guests of one of the managers, and I believe we were in a "VIP" area although I use that term loosely. We were having an okay time, utilizing the table service that came with the table. Much to my chagrin, after a few drinks, I noticed that my cocktails were becoming strangely bland. I began to pour more from the Grey Goose bottle when a girl I was sitting with pointed out that it was not vodka. I didn't believe her until I poured it directly into my mouth ... it was WATER. I kid you not. Some ingrate tried to convince me that it was "the end of the bottle" and that's why it tasted so watery ... riiiight. I bade farewell to that peasant and we promptly left in a huff. Luckily we had not wasted any of our money that night but truly, it was hard to believe. No wonder they are spending so much on advertising .. that place is a WASTE & there are sooo many better clubs in NYC. Don't waste your time !
Pros: no cover (otherwise no one would go..)
Cons: WATER instead of vodka, ambience, crowd, music .. the list goes on
