Businiess name:  Velo Bike Shop
Review by:  Dan D.
Review content:
My wife and I checked out Velo Bikes when we were trying to find her a decent, comfortable used bike to ride a mile and a half to work. Velo was probably the wrong store for that—they’ve been around forever and are apparently very well known and connected to the competitive cycling community here. The salesperson was really helpful and friendly though, even though it became clear pretty fast that she and my wife weren’t talking about the same kind of bike (they sell a lot of composite-material Bianchis and such). It was a good move to come that way though, because we found a classic Schwinn road bike in the basement of the Value Village next to Velo for $20. The salesperson from Velo saw us wheeling it by and came out to admire it, give us advice and sell us some replacement parts. I’m almost ashamed to say that we took it to another shop closer to home for the needed repairs.
