Review content:
My experience with this spa is nothing short of frustrating. Despite setting appointments for two pedicures on a Saturday morning, and receiving a confirmation call a day or two before the appointment, my colleague and I found ourselves appointment-less before 9a. One of the spa associates informed me that I called and left a message on the voicemail canceling our appointments, and that our appointments were cancelled at my request. Although I explained that this was not possible (as I was without cell phone service on a business trip during that time period), the staff associate (I am not sure if she was the manager) did very little to investigate the situation or take efforts to reschedule our appointments. I have been to quite a few spas all along the east coast, and I have never encountered a more bizarre scenario at a spa. Though I doubt this is a routine condition, the lack of accommodation, coupled with the strangeness of the entire situation was noteworthy enough for me to express my disappointment on Citysearch. Pros: the lobby is pretty Cons: the staff is not held accountable for appointment glitches - worst excuse I've ever heard!
