I just went back and... hot DAYUM that place was jumpin!
Ronda & Jonda were rockin' the joint. Everybody... every age, gender, color, social status and preference... was having a fantastic time.
I went back the next night for Karaoke and DJ Debra blew me away with her own soulful blues, while every singer who ponied up to the stage gave a really solid performance... you usually have to pay a lot more than $3 to see entertainment like this. So needless to say, the cover was VERY reasonable.
The bar was WAY crowded, but the drinks were generous in both size and alcohol content. I had just two of their special cocktails, the "Gray Ghost," and I was IMPAIRED. 'Course, I didn't drive. I sobered up with some very respectable hot wings from the kitchen, and danced it off!
I love the Lipstick Lounge! You will too!
