I called Home Care Assistance for my uncle, who has been needing a lot of help lately. He's 70 years old and live at home by himself, so I thought a caregiver or companion would be a lot of help to him.
The staff helped set him up with a great caregiver. They used something that they called Balanced Care Method... i think that's what it's called. Anyway, it was great. My uncle is very happy with his friend and is now able to have help when he wants to get something done and is unable to do things himself. Right now, he just uses hourly care, but he is considering getting live-in. We'll see how it goes.
