Since my move to Atherton, I have moved at least once a year. Each time, my parents came to help. My parents didn't come to help this time...guess that means I'm officially an adult. Right? So, I weighed my options. I could either torture my friend to help me move and drive the truck (there is no way I'm driving) or, well. Oh wait! I could hire movers. I was a bit skeptical looking for movers at first, but then I Yelped and settled on what seemed like the best in the business--AVL Moving Systems I went through their online form--sooooooper easy--and got a response within a day! I appreciated that their form was really specific as to listing what I had to move instead of me having to think back to how many things I needed to pack away. And that was that..I didn't need to check back with them for anything after, but I knew that I could if I wanted. :) The week of my move, they called to confirm my information, see if there were any changes, etc. Awesome.... Then the morning of, about an hour before the scheduled move, I got a call from them telling me when they'd get there, etc. Super awesome. My movers were super cool...They answered any questions I had and warned me of anything that didn't look like it was going to make it . Oh! And they were under the estimate! When I sent in the request, I got an estimate for 3 hours with 2 guys, but they made it just under 2 hours, giving me more time to unpack..which I didn't really do. Although I've never used another Moving service, the pricing seemed extremely fair for me. The amount of stress, sweat, etc. they saved me was 100% worth it. And Im sure no Moving company could be better than these people performing such am amazing job. I will continue to move with AVL Moving Systems only. Thanks AVL !!
