I'd like to provide some thoughts on our experience at Mehfil, the facility, the staff and owners. We had so far 2 separate functions celebrating our son's birthday and another occasion at the restaurant. We chose this in the first place, because of the new management, the wonderful look, the reasonable prices and above all very dedicated management. I have to say both the events went off very well and so many of our friends gave great accolades about the service, the quality and variety of food, the immaculate premises and the personal involvement from the ownership. Top notch is the word. We'll and we already have recommended this restaurant to all our friends and acquaintances.
When we went back the second time (after the name change to Mehfil), the place was completely redecorated and the ambience is one of the top restaurants in Seattle. I would say you not only go to a place to eat just for the food but the overall experience and you certainly won't be dissapointed with this one.
In terms of dishes, you've got to taste Chicken Biryani. In addition the ownership is not hesitant to introduce items that bring back the good old times. BTW, if you do have any suggestions pls do have a word with one of the owners, they are extremely receptive to new thoughts.
Overall, I would rate this as one of the best restaurants I've seen even compared to the ones in say Boston, or New York or California (yes Bay Area folks!!) and of course Seattle.
