Review content:
I was a huge fan of Alphabet Lounge for the first hour I was there. The bartenders didn't play favorites, they serve you quickly, and it was stacked with girls. Good looking girls, at that.
But then things got kind of messy.
The line to the bathroom was ridiculously long. It actually cut in front of two tables full of girls, which made it uncomfortable to stand there and pretend that I wasn't barging in on their party (unintentionally). It got so bad that I eventually went outside to go to the bathroom. Otherwise, it would have been a 35 minute wait to use the bathroom. At least.
This waiting in line was eventually compounded, however, by the $20 tip I gave the bartenders on a $104 tab. Without my knowledge. They stick it onto all credit card tabs without warning you. The place boasts *decent* bartenders, but not "$2-a-drink" decent. So because of this ridiculously shady policy, I will no longer go to the Alphabet Lounge. Not even with cash, and maybe not even if someone offered to pay for all my drinks for the entire night. It's cramped, the bathroom line wait will cause someone some serious kidney damage in the near future, and adding an automatic 20% tip FOR A BARTENDER is just ridiculous.
Skip it and go somewhere else. Anywhere else.
Pros: Lots of girls who seemed to be happy with the DJ
Cons: automatic 20% tip to bartenders on credit card tabs that they don't tell you about; bathroom line is laughably long
