Review content:
i don't get all the bitching from these people on here. the store is great and service is perfect.
why would you want to bring a 4 year old to a store with so much merchandise clearly nothing is available for a child.? you are just asking for trouble when they start twisting pairs of sunglasses that you allow them to play with just to keep them out of your hair.
i was at closet classics yesterday and there were halloween body parts all around the store. this is not for children. they do not sell childrens costumes or clothing so what are you thinking bringing a kid in the store and leaving them without supervision? the store employees are not your babysitters either.
as for drinks, do you think you are in a mall? this is a small store with just a few people working trying to do the jobs of many. i saw and read the sign on the door that reads no food or drinks, finish them before you enter. i asked if i could leave my drink on the counter and was told no. i could see why, there was no room for anything of mine to be put down.no one said, "dump it out" so clearly you made that up.
i worked at a department store where people could do what they wanted to to with drinks and fried chicken because no one cared. i had to clean up more than one bottle of capped soda that exploded all over walls and merchandise when a careless child or adult let it crash to the floor
. i am sure that closet classics has their rules for a reason. you need to learn to repect people.
i aksed why i could not take my merchandise to the second floor at closet classics and was told that there were seperate inventories and that items from one floor are often left on the other floor and that causes havoc with their inventory.
i am sure the person had answered that same question 50 times that day so what if she did not pepper it with a please. you already were angry because of your inability to walk 20 feet from your car to the store without a soda in your hand jand were sanctioned for it.
so for all of your haters who write on here, lighten up. we should be happy that we have a few independent stores left here in milwaukee. there are not many left. the big stores took out the icon atomic records.keep up the good work people and more of our city stores that over diversity will be gone too.
you sheep need to go to the malls because that is where no one gives a fluff about you, your kids and the peanut butter and jelly sandwich you are wiping all over the $200 jackets you are trying on.
i will shop at closet classics like i have since i was in grade school, high school and college and i will leave my kids at home when i shop and i will buy a coat for $12.99 and f*ck the malls and never go to them.
closet classics rocks. i know that i can always find what i am looking for there. so what if they have store rules. live with them and get over yourselves.
by the way ,i have seen the same employees working there for decades. no doghouses on site.
Pros: best unusual mix of merchandise anywhere
Cons: they should be open more than 8 hours a day
