Review content:
I bought my Maxima from Pence in 2002. My most recent experience involved going to them to check a service engine soon light, rotate and balance my tires, and change my steering fluid. That trip cost 700.00 (service engine light was on, allegedly, b/c some $450.00 sensor had broken). The next day, smoke started coming from under my hood. My radiator was now leaking. Took it back in and they told me $480.00 to fix the radiator, and that they recommended replacing some radiator hoses at a cost of $540.00. I said give me my keys, I'm going to leave. The guy came back 15 minutes later and said he'd do the radiator for $390.00. I took my car and left. Got a recommendation from a friend for a good auto service company and they replaced the radiator for $290.00. The place that fixed the radiator said the hoses didn't need replacing, and if they did, it would only be $100.00. I wonder how much money I've spent unnecessarily over the years at Pence.
