Review content:
On a recent visit to Charleston, my husband, daughter and I decided to try out Hominy Grill. While a number of friends had recommended it, I had no idea how great it would be truly the best meal of the trip. What a relief to finally find a restaurant that offered the best of low country cooking without the pretentiousness of so many Charleston restaurants: shrimp and grits, shad roe, collard greens.and even fried chicken and some pretty incredible chocolate pudding for my two year old. Our waitress could not have been sweeter, sharing must see local sights/activities and making sure our daughter had plenty of toys to keep her entertained. I give Hominy Grill a big thumbs up!
