We live a block away from this highly touted restaurant and have been several times because our guests have always heard of it and want to try. Honestly, I'm not a big fan. The food is only average, there are better southern restaurants and at a lower price, unfortunately most aren't downtown. My biggest gripe is that there's nothing on the menu to really get excited about, everything is just kind of plain. With that being said the service has always been friendly and the atmosphere is just what you would expect. If you're craving southern food, Boulevard Diner, Gullah Cuisine, and Salt and Pepper in Mount Pleasant all have better food. Pros: location, atmosphere Cons: overrated, dry biscuits, boring menu
