Review content:
At the recommendation of a friend we dined at Milos this past Friday. The decor was lovely and the place was packed. As we were walk-ins we waited for about a half hour or so and there was a no-show. We sat at the bar and had drinks and appetizers. While the Greek wine was lovely we found that the pricing was a bit over the top. Once we were seated we ordered our entrees. I ordered a steak as I am not a big seafood fan, Pricing was comparable to one of the finer steak houses. I ALWAYS order my steak medium-rare. When it arrived I cut into it and it was past medium. I showed it to the waiter and he said it was medium-rare but he took it away. I was then shocked as he brought it back again and said that the chef said it was as I requested. My wife then interjected and the waiter abruptly cut her off and was quite a bit rude. Not what you expect at this class of restaurant. I am not sure if it was race or sex related but I did get the impression he had a problem with one or the other, if not both. He finally took the steak back and brought one back that was basically raw. I didn't want to extend my misery but I ate it. I will never go back again, and I AM Greek, spoke to them in Greek and have never had that type of experience before. BTW, when asking for a bottle of wine make sure you SEE the price - I was verbally given one price and charged another
