Very homey, cozy, French restaurant where you can tell the regulars from the not. My large party of 7 was in the ""not"" section - but we had great service, an attentive waitress (she was such a dear), even though I know we were a big group. The place is cramped but the waitstaff were pros at navigating the tiny spaces and making at all work for us. The clientele is a bit on the older side, but our little spirited group didn't seem to bother them. \r

The food was good, staple French. Nothing that blew me out of the water, but definitely a good in the tummy kind of meal. I had the veal scallopini, but we also sampled the beef stew, hangar steak, scallops, and dover sole. My friends enjoyed the soups and, of course, the baguettes. The wine was also standard, staple, French. Can't really go wrong here.\r

Hands down though - the best part of the meal was the Chocolate Souffle for two. Yes, its 18$. Yes it looks huge. (My table split it among 6) but I could have eaten 4 of those big boys on my own. Light as air, creamy and smooth, rich yet delicate! I can go on forever. Fantastic.\r

I'll be back - even if only for souffle.
