Review content:
I had high hopes for this place but was disappointed to the point of needing to warn others. This place may have been great at one time but something is going on behind the scenes now. We just ate there for dinner last night and couldn't believe how over-rated it is for the poor food quality and service. Our group ordered quite a variety of plates--skirt steak, corn tamales, chili rellenos, enchilada, and taquitos. How can you screw this ALL up so poorly right? The tamales, I swear, were out of a creamed corn can; skirt steak was lukewarm and so tough that we all tasted it and decided shoe leather was better; chili rellenos, which I love, were soggy and had no real flavor...a huge disappointment for me; the taquitos were so crunchy from being dried out; and the enchilada tasted as though it was all beans and nothing else. We won't be eating here again and wish we hadn't given the cost of bad food. As much as I wish the TOP CHEF winning chef the best, I doubt anyone with much talent is involved in the day to day operations any longer. This place is now a bust like so many of your every-day, run-of-the mill restaurants; sadly:(
