Was quoted a price of $1000 for a part on my car. During the conversation, Mark from Honest-1 told me he looked all over for a cheaper price on the part but none was available, so I took him at his word.
After paying the $1400 bill, (total with parts and labor) I was shown the part they replaced and given a receipt with the part number on it. I took the bill home and looked up the part online. I found the same part in 3 separate places for less than $250 dollars. One part store had it for $202!!
According to Honest-1, the part could only be found for $1000 ($998 to be exact). I don't mind a guy making a buck, but this is ridiculous. Especially after telling the customer you tried to look all over for a cheaper price. HONEST........don't think so.
This is the first time I've ever felt the need to write a review, I hope this saves someone else from being shafted.
