So my wife is a crafty person sometimes (it comes and goes in spurts). When she's feeling particularly artsy, I brace myself for a big bill from Denver Fabrics. Not only does she always find whatever hard-to-find fabric or dodad she has her mind set on, she finds MORE fabrics and doodads that she doesn't even need but really ends up wanting. I remember one time she went there wanting to make a stuffed leopard, and she found the fur she was looking for, and then some leather scraps that she ended up using for the nose and paws. She was happy- found what she wanted. She says that the prices are somewhat high but, like she says, she always finds what she's looking for. I just wish she'd find it at the discount annex next door to Denver Fabrics once in awhile...
