This seems to be a large company with the decent BBB rating, however, my experience with their office servicing Worcester was rather unfortunate.Two technicians came over and quoted us for the work that needs to be done. They seemed to be professional and polite, quote was reasonable, however, as it came out, they have failed to disclose some key information (which you wouldn’t know unless you went up there yourself and were really chimney-savvy) and most of the work they have quoted was not really necessary. What helped us to find it out was the fact that they lost our paperwork at their office, so we were forced to use other service provider. But before that we called Ultimate Chimney Sweeps repeatedly, even talked to the office manager, lady, who personally assured us they will find our papers and call us back on our cell phones asap. That has never happened and we haven’t heard from them for 3 months, finally receiving some vague and unclear letter. My guess is that they did find our paperwork after all. Timing is everything.
In the meantime we were fortunate enough to come across another professional and, most importantly, honest chimney company A-Tec Chimney Sweeps, which I would highly recommend.
