I was recommended to go to JCON because ot the talent and high level of service. I am a very positive person who never complains, I read these reviews on CitySearch and I was confident this was the salon for me. I have to tell my story, because I didnt get anything the other people described in their reviews which makes me believe that JCON wrote those reviews. My stylist, TIM was 25 min late, thats no problem. BUT my consultation with TIM was a joke, he is one of the most expensive stylists there, and he rushed through the consult, and didnt listen to a word I said. I stated exactly what I was trying to achieve, and what turned out wasnt even close (cut or color). TIM wasnt going to blowdry my hair because it didnt "fit into his schedule" but to me, that is the only way we were going to see if the color & cut was right. TIM said "very rarely do his clients get their hair dried and styled", what a joke! Since I wasnt going directly home, I needed it dried and styled. Tim paired me with a male assistant fresh out of school, probably 19 yrs old with tatoos, earrings & punk rock hair. This kid didnt know anything. I walked out with a bill nearly $200 and hated the style so much I put it in a pony tail. I told the receptionist, BRITTANY I was very dissatisfied and she actually ignored my comment completely. Even though an inexperienced assistant styled my hair, I was charged Tims "Master Stylist" price. The next day I went in and talked to JANET the manager. Basically she was nice until I had a problem, then she turned into a COLD B***H, and basically refused to speak to me about my experienced and offered to get the owner, JOE. She went into his office, which has a window (so you can see whats going on in there) She was pointing, making eye contact and saying rude things, I could just tell. I then spoke to JOE in his office in front of a 5ft picture of Christ. I was talked down to like a child, and was made out to be a bad person for complaining. Pros: Parking, Location, Interior Cons: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Caring About Customer Needs, Assembly Line Feeling
