Review content:
I have had so many bad experiences at J-Con I had to write about it to warn other patrons. I had very blonde hair and told the stylist that I wanted to go a little bit darker. She didn't listen to barely anything I said and all of the sudden she was putting a demi-permanent hair dye all over my head. When I walked out of the salon, my hair was a very dark brown, almost black color. It looked absolutely horrible. To add insult to injury, the next day the salon called me AT WORK and told me that they did not charge me enough for the color and I had to go back to the salon to pay them another $25 on top of the $150 that I had been charged for a cut and color. (This was not the first time the salon had called me back to tell me I owed them more money.) I asked to speak to the owner after I was finished paying for my horrible hair color and he told me they would fix it. But guess what, they charged me to fix THEIR mistake! This salon is a joke. Instead of spending their money on good stylists and improving customer service, they spend it on renovating the salon. I would not trust my hair to J-Con. The only person who is nice and talented there is Jan who does waxing and facials. I would highly recommend her. Just because the prices are high at J-Con does not by any means make them an upscale salon. At least they got the name right!
Pros: Size & Location
Cons: Overrated, over priced, unfriendly receptionists and stylists
