Review content:
I was there with a small wedding party of 20-somethings. From the moment we walked in it was obvious that the bartender and the patrons were not very happy to have younger, out-of-towners in "their" bar. One or two people in my group were drunk and being loud, but not out of control, vulgar or innappropriate. And I have to say it was more their personality than the alcohol. After one of them laughed really hard and gave another friend a bear hug the bar decided they were too drunk and cut off about half the group. A few of my friends were pretty upset and wanted to not pay the bill. I decided to pay the bill. However, I did not tip, on my friends advice, but, felt very bad and went up to talk to the waitress and apologize and give her a tip. At this point patrons at the bar(obviously all locals by the fact the bartender knew their names) all looked at me and one of them even snickered out loud when he heard my apology. I went back up to the bar to return the signed receipt and told the waitress that I didn't appreciate being laughed at by the local patrons when I was trying to do the right thing. I was not trying to start a fight, I didn't say or do anything inappropriate. I simply told her I didn't appreciate it. At this point the bartender came over yelling at me to go back to my seat, and the shut the F--- up and sit down. He continued to yell at me, while I continually, very calmly said, "you don't even know what is going on and you're not letting me talk." He stopped for a second, let me start to talk, then cut me off, yelling once again, to "shut the F---- up, take my beer and go to the other room." I wasn't looking for anything, not even an apology. All I wanted was to say what I had to say and walk away. Overall, a horrible experience. The feeling I got was that they were happy to take our money but not happy to have us there. We weren't old enough, wealthy enough or local enough for them. Not the right way to run a business in my opinion. Pros: didn't have any food, I'm sure it is good. Cons: Horrible customer service, no communication skills, bad business practices
