Review content:
Our location is far from filthy. Cleanups are done on a daily basis. We have no "Posters" anywhere to be
considered tacky unless you count our front window but I justify that with being off Merrick Road on a side street as a business we need to attract attention. If you read the web page you would have seen posted "site under construction".
If the therapist was inflicting pain why did you not tell the therapist. We are not mind readers, we work
with all our clients to give them the best treatment possible which means 2 way communications. Typically
we do not utilize oil, we use massage cream which has a totally different consistency.
As far as walking into a "Massage Hell" this is a totally unfounded statement and makes no sense.
All our therapists are NYS licensed which is 1000 hours classroom training, a passing grade from the
institution and a NYS administered exam. These therapists know what they are doing!
How you consider the tables dirty? This truly is the biggest falsehood. We wash our linens after EVERY SESSION. We use Tide, along with OxyClean and a name brad liquid fabric softener.
A Horrid, $10 Lamp.... would you rather be beamed by annoying fluorescents or our lights which are kept on dimmers to cast the room in a calming twilight feel. Also, some of our laps cost in excess of of $60 being salt lamps to purify the air. All our tables have electric warmers as well as each room having portable heaters and or fans.
The only time a therapist might sit during a massage is while working on head or feet, the rest is in a standing position and all our stools are professional purchased from the massage warehouse.
The bathroom is clean, however we have laundry bins for used laundry which does pile up as we do get busy and to keep up with laundry can be a challenge with 5 treatments at a time with one washer & dryer in the bathroom, so other than an uncluttered look when this pile gets high, the toilet and sink are exceptionally clean. I can only apologize if the washer and dryer in the bathroom is a real downer for you.
We are Core Therapeutic Massage with several spa like services however we are not and never claimed to be a spa and as of 2010 (9 years in business) we have been recognized by the Better Business Bureau.
Next time you have an issue with a business I suggest you take it up with the Manager or owner before you print a review with little warrant, just perhaps someone might see what they can do to make you happy.
