The Book Shelf is one of three book stores in this small town. One store has used books, another has rare books, and The Book Shelf has new books for sale. The collection tends toward books of regional interest, plus best sellers, greeting cards, children's books, bargain books, gifts for readers and mugs. The Book Shelf has been an independent community bookseller in Tryon since 1952. Special orders will be happily placed for you.
