Thoroughly ghastly experience here for my first attempt at getting glasses. I've never had an eye exam so signed up at the attached eye clinic. The Dr. gave me more info about glasses than any of the staff at Binyon's. Staff was not at all willing to explain the separate charges for frames, lenses, lens treatments, etc.
I was astonished to get the final cost of one pair of glasses. I found an online source for LESS THAN HALF OF BINYON'S PRICE. Also they tried to sell me reading glasses for $40, with ugly frames, when I found frames I like online for $6.
Staff was very unhelpful and downright rude. Because I decided not to purchase anything they ultimately refused to speak to me or answer any further questions. Why is this place still in business? This entire scam is a dinosaur which will surely soon be extinct.
