Happy with him at first then when my son was 6 months old he had a reaction to some meds, Miller sent us back and forth for testing at the hospital after test after test was turning out okay. I didn't mind because i would rather be on the safe side. Then on a followup appointment we saw one of the other doctors that work with him and they immediatley said it was a normal non threatning side effect of the meds. <-- well that could had saved us time, money and most important worry. I continued to see him because in the long run there was a small chance it could had been something else. Now just last Friday my son was bit in the face by our family dog. We took him to the ER and he had to get 2 stitches on his cheek. He also had a bad puncture right under his eye. I called Miller's Waldorf office the next morning (saturday hours) explained to the receptionist what happend and that I would like miller to look over him to be sure everything looks okay, and to review the meds they put him on. she replied with Saturday appt. are for emergencies only.. WTH. I asked her to speak with Miller and tell him that my son's face was swollen and red. (signs of infection) she put me on hold and returned with. sorry emergencies only we can schedule an appointment for monday. I was so made I hung up. Called Leonardtown Monday morning, and made an appointment with the NP Jennifer Sylvester. (which is WONDERFUL) she called another doctor in. (Dr. T, she is very nice as well) and they immediatly sent us to childrens ER in DC. the Bite got infected. This is a huge deal because it could of got in his blood stream and being on his face and so close to his brain it could have hurt him REALLY bad. All could been avoided or not of gotten so bad if Miller would had seen him on Saturday. Gave 2 stars ONLY because the other Doctors that practice there and the NP Jenn have always been good with my son. Been speaking with co workers and they all say Miller isnt very proactive about "could be" problems. Always says"lets wait it out and see"
