Good: The Dessert variety, prepared and ready to serve.. Bad: What's not to like when viewing the prepared desserts at Straubs.. Improvements: Difficult to do, but individual servings are difficult to get out of the store and finally home without them needing repair work some times. Just have to be mindful of how the box is handled.. Other: Needed dessert for six; and they wanted something unique. Selected a cheese cake. Got it home, made a ganache, chilled the serving plates. Drizzled the ganache on the plates in a delightful pattern; placed the cheese cake in the center. Then sifted powdered sugar and chocolate over the top. Place a leave of mint and a strawberry on the cheese cake and it was a smashing hit. What a great idea and selection from Straubs..
