Review content:
We stayed here for two nights. We chose it at the last minute, and chose it over the BW in Thomaston because it allows dogs. The staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean, and the bath fixtures were new and of high quality. Our room had a small cube refrig which was great. Breakfast was in the Red Jacket restaurant, which was very tastefully decorated and clean. The breakfast was fine for us, the usual bagels, toast, muffins, cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs and a quiche egg cup that you could warm in the microwave. Also coffee, tea, OJ and apple juice, and milk and a few small muffins. The food was basic but good enough for us for a $74/night room (AAA discount). The rooms, even without a balcony, had a very nice view of the harbor. The Lighthouse museum and visitors center was right across the street. The downtown area with its very cute shops was just a block away. The Owls Head Transportation Museum, a must see, was only 2 miles away. So it is very conveniently located. It has an indoor pool which was very warm. It has a hot tub as well. All in all we would not hesitate to return.
