Review content:
The Minden Opera House was built in 1883 it is refurbished and now houses a community theatre stage where community plays are put on. They also use the theatre part for summer children's productions and to show movies on the weekends, sometimes a free one on Saturdays for the kids. The Opera House also has a small gift shop on the main level. The theatre boasts of a hand painted ceiling mural that depicts the area in the 1880's when the town of Minden was being settled. The Opera House can also be rented for private art showings, private parties and wedding receptions. A wonderful tribute to the history of our little town!
